In “Cassandra Float Can,” Anne Carson mentions one of Matta-Clark’s works:  “He cut huge circular and boat-shaped holes in the walls, floors and ceilings of a Paris office block in 1977.” This description and date seem to refer to another work by Matta-Clark, Office Baroque, which was done at an Antwerp office building in 1977.
