“”Dazzling hybrids”: The poetry of Anne Carson” in Canadian Literature 166 (2000), 17-41.
ISSN: 00084360
Notes from Source: In her book “Autobiography of Red: A Novel in Verse,” Anne Carson manipulates and conflates her source material by drawing female and male literary figures into closer focus through a series of alternating frames. She combines the Osirian art of writing with the Isian art of weaving to create a strong narrative through constant fragmentation and displacement of material.
